May 30, 2012 More awards for Silent Snow

April may have been busy; May was an even more successful month. Silent Snow won five awards on prestigious international film festivals.

It won the ‘Best Mountain Nature and Culture Film’ award at the IMFFD in Slovenia, where Dutch Ambassador Jos Douma represented us and received the award.

Furthermore, we had a screening in Brazil on the Festival de Cinema Europeu in Brasilia, and won the 'Prize for Innovative Looking for Answers to Pressing Questions' at the Envirofilm Festival (Slovak Republic).

Last week, the film was screened at the Human Rights Film Festival in beautiful Barcelona, where Jan van den Berg collected yet another award for his project: the Survival International Award. This festival will also screen in Paris and New York later this year.

After another great screening at the Buenos Aires Human Rights Film Festival IMD in Argentina, Silent Snow got it's 4th award at Festival delle Terre in Rome, Italy and is nominated for yet a fifth award on the CinemAmbiente Festival which will take place in Torino, Italy, next week.

Don't forget to check the screenings page regularly, as more screenings are coming up every week.
