Silent Snow in Dutch MuZEEum: Tegenpolen
The Silent Snow short film was incorporated in Tegenpolen; an exhibition about the polar regions in the Dutch maritime museum MuZEEum in Vlissingen. The exhibition will run from 14 may 2008 until 5 may 2009.

After screening the film at the 10th edition of the One World International Festival of Human Rights Films, One World has included the short film in the One World in Schools project. As part of an educational package on the Millennium Goals, it will be used in 500 primary schools in the Czech Republic.

Golden Snail for Best Short Documentary @ Slow Food on Film Festival
Silent Snow was awarded with a Golden Snail and €2000,- price at the Slow Food on Film Festival in Bologna.
The Jury: “The film is visually striking and uses the subtle, delicate and unsentimentally-told story of two young girls in an isolated and unfamiliar land to shed light on a powerful story of global significance.”
